Haykakan Zhamanak: Hovik Abrahamyan and sheikhs
12:15 - 03.09.11
The paper cites rumors that Chairman of Armenia's National Assembly,
Hovik Abrahamyan, ordered 180 gilded sockets and switches from Germany
for his private house located in Haghtanak Park in Yerevan.
It also says that the German suppliers were surprised by the amount of
the sockets and switches and tried to find out if it was 18 rather
than 180.
Further, the paper says that such orders are usually made by Arab sheikhs.
It also mentions that Hovik Abrahamyan dismissed those rumors, saying
that his private house under discussion has only 60 white sockets and
switches.
