"Wikileaks is one of the predatory systems in the world, whose God is
money. Its primary goal is to maintain power in the globe. Wikileaks
is a universal tool for the U.S. which targets at anyone. Wikileaks
has gone beyond all morals," member of Karabakh Committee Ashot
Manucharyan said on Monday.
He advises Armenians not to pay too much attention to Wikileaks which
is a tool to manipulate second-class nations like us.
Regarding Wikileaks findings that the trade of Iranian heroin benefits
Armenian high-ranking officials, including former President Levon
Ter-Petrosyan, Manucharyan said, "Some clarifications were made
later in foreign media according to which the term "former president"
was wrongly ascribed to Levon Ter-Petrosyan.
Speaking about the suspended dialogue between the government and
opposition, Manucharyan said, a rebellion is maturing in Armenia.
"In the given situation dialogue can suggest options other than a
rebellion. The Armenian National Congress (HAK) will either lead the
pan-national rebellion or disappear from the political arena. The
opposition alliance would naturally choose the first option," he said
adding that the pan-national wrath will reach its climax in September.
Manucharyan believes that the talks were suspended after the
intervention of Russia which aimed to lessen the influence of the USA.
The Karabakh Committee member says social riots may lead to snap
elections in the fall.
"If political forces do not unite andlead the popular movement,
people themselves will lead it," he said.
