AREXIMBANK-GROUP OF GASPROMBANK OFFERS NON-MATERIAL METALLIC ACCOUNTS

YEREVAN, September 5. /ARKA/. Areximbank-Group of Gasprombank offers
its clients a new method of maintenance of monetary means from currency
risks - non-material metallic accounts (NMA), press-service of the
Bank informed "ARKA".
According to the press-release, the essence of the service is that
the client can open NMA tying the amount on the account to the gold
price, i.e. turning the money into "virtual" non-material gold.
"The service NMA will give the client a number of advantages such as
receiving income from price increase of gold, reduction of impact of
currency rate variations, opportunity of avoiding risks of losses or
theft, as well as significant economy of time for its implementation",
states the press-release.
Opening of metallic account is free and minimum account balance -
zero grams.
Calculation and conclusion of transactions of non-cash gold is
implemented taking into account gold weight only of probe 999. Clients
having NMA accounts can sell non-material gold to the bank any time
according to the given exchange rate or transfer to the accounts of
non-material gold of other banks.
Areximbank-Gazprombank Group operates in the financial market of
Armenia since 1998. It is the affiliate of Russian "Gazprombank". As
of August 30, 2011 the Bank has served 54 341 clients, of which 52 506
are individuals and 1 835 - legal entities. At present, the branch
network of the Bank has 15 sub-divisions, of which 6 are in Yerevan
and 9 - in different regions of the country.
