HRAYR KARAPETYAN: ARMENIAN NATIONAL CONGRESS MAY GAIN SEATS IN THE NEXT PARLIAMENT DUE TO ITS CURRENT DIALOGUE WITH THE GOVERNMENT

The Armenian National Congress may well gain seats in the next
parliament due to its current dialogue with the Government, Chairman
of the Standing Parliamentary Committee on Defense, National Security
and Internal Affairs, ARFD member Hrayr Karapetyan said during a
press-conference on Thursday.
"Had they not refused to run for the parliament in 2007 they would
have already been there and there would have been no Mar 1 tragedy,"
Karapetyan said.
He said that even though the ARFD is not involved in such dialogues,
it is actively preparing for the upcoming elections.
