MP: CAREER OFFICERS ARE FUTURE OF ARMENIAN ARMY

PanARMENIAN.Net - Career officers are the future of the Armenian army,
the Chairman of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Defence,
National Security and Internal Affairs believes.
As Hrayr Karapetyan told a news conference in Yerevan, "career
officers, having clear advantages over those without military
education, will help solve Armenian army's problems. Their expertise
gives us reason to hope that future officer staff will dramatically
improve current situation in the army."
"Although thankful to old officer staff for their contributions, we
can't but notice the shortcomings of some of them. Armenian army is
no place for inadequate people," Karapetyan said, expressing hope
for reforms, initiated by Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan, to be
successfully implemented.
