EXHIBITION DEDICATED TO ARMENIAN HERITAGE IN TURKEY'S VAN

Photographer from Turkey's Van Altac Selcuk intends to organize a
photo exhibition dedicated to the Armenian heritage on the occasion
of liturgy scheduled for September 11 at Surb Khach church on Akhtamar
Island.
The exhibition will present spiritual and cultural monuments left by
Armenians in the city of Van.
Taking photos of the Armenian heritage Selcuk discovered many Armenian
churches, cemeteries and other historical buildings and appealed
to the council on culture and nature protection offering to restore
the monuments.
An exhibition of Haydar Ekinek, a painter from Van, will take place
on Akhtamar Island as well.
