    ARMENIA'S DEFENSE MINISTER DISCUSSES MILITARY COOPERATION IN POLAND

    Armenia's Defense Minsiter Seyran Ohanyan discussed military
    cooperation between Armenia and Poland with polish officials during
    his visit to Warsaw from September 7-9.

    According to a press release by the Defense Ministry, at the meeting
    with his Polish counterpart Tomasz Siminiak, Ohanyan discussed also
    the future of military cooperation between the two countries.

    The sides also exchanged views over the military-political situation
    in the South Caucasus, the process of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict
    settlement and the international support forces in Afghanistan.

    They also agreed on signing agreements on military cooperation between
    Armenia and Poland, as well as extending cooperation in the sphere
    of military education.

    During his visit, Ohanyan held a meeting with representatives of the
    Armenian community in Poland.

    Ohanyan presented them the problems Armenia's Armed Forces have and
    the development programs.

    He also referred to the situation on the Line of Contact between
    Armenia and Azerbaijan and Armenia's security challenges.

    Seyran Ohanyan also visited the Polish Museum of History and placed
    a wrath at the memorial of Unknown Soldier.

    The Armenian delegation headed by Seyran Ohanyan returned to Armenia
    on September 10.
