The paper claims that Yerevan Chief Architect Narek Sargsyan's name
initially was Napoleon.
Speaking to the paper Narek Sargsyan confirmed this news.
"My grandfather made my parents name me after my uncle who died in
the Patriotic War. My name was changed during my student years upon
my request, by the mediation of [renowned Armenian poet] Hovhannes
Shiraz" said Narek Sargsyan.
Sargsyan also said that Shiraz suggested taking the name "Nshan".
However, he chose "Narek," following a suggestion by one of his
friends.
