FAIR COMPETITION BETWEEN UNIVERSITIES WILL LEAD TO INCREASE OF EDUCATION QUALITY, ARMEN ASHOTYAN SAID

Yerevan/Mediamax/. Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan's proposal
to create equal conditions for state and private educational
institutions for receiving governmental financing "will allow
conducting fair competition".
Armenian Minister of Education Armen Ashotyan said this today,
Mediamax reports.
"This approach of the government will facilitate equal competition
between educational institutions which will lead to the increase of
education quality," the minister said.
Armen Ashotyan went on adding that private educational institutions
may lay claim to governmental financing after passing an attestation,
the requirements and criteria for which have been toughened.
