INTEL PRESENTS OFFERS WITHIN "A COMPUTER FOR EACH PUPIL" PROGRAM

The representatives of Intel presented their offers within "A Computer
for Each Pupil" program to Armenian Minister of Education and Science
Armen Ashotyan today.
Armen Ashotyan said that the growth of computerization is a priority
issue in the light of educational reforms. Today, one computer goes
to 22 pupils in Armenia which is close to the average European index.
"However, we are interested in improving this index. We are especially
interested in computers with software in the Armenian language",
the Minister noted.
The parties discussed the possibilities of Intel's participation in
the process of computerization of Armenia's general educational sphere.
