ARMENIA AN intriguing threat to the Republic of Ireland's Euro chances
has just surfaced.
Their 0-0 draw in Moscow coupled with Armenia's 4-0 win in Slovakia -
their best-ever result - seemed the dream double.
But Armenia, once managed by Ian Porterfield, now look their biggest
threat in a four-horse race.
Victory over fading Macedonia next would give the former Soviet
satellite 17 points going into the last game in Dublin, and they have
the best goal difference by a mile.
