Sarkozy may replace Medvedev in Karabakh peace talks

The co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group have made a decision to transfer
Russia's obligations in the Nagorno Karabakh peace deal to French
President Nicolas Sarkozy.
An anonymous diplomatic source has told Regnum news agency that such
unique rotation could push forward new international "peace
enforcement" mechanisms for implementing the Madrid Principles.
A UN Security Council decision to establish a UN trust territory in
Karabakh might one of such measures, that would follow the deployment
of peacekeepers in the disputed area.
