NA RATIFIES PACKAGE OF AGREEMENTS ON MILITARY TECHNICAL COOPERATION WITHIN THE CSTO

With 78 for, 1 against and 3 restricted the National Assembly ratified
the package of agreements on reinforcement of military-technical
cooperation within the framework of the CSTO. The package includes
agreements intending reinforcement of cooperation in a number of
spheres. According to one of the agreements the defensive potential
will also be reinforced. Its goal is improvement of military-technical
and military economic cooperation among the member states of the
CSTO, development of defensive industry enterprises and creation of
conditions for the integration. The agreement will also create an
opportunity to carry out joint programs in the spheres of industry,
in scientific-research sphere.
