IDS TO REPLACE SOCIAL CARDS IN ARMENIA?

The Armenian Parliament is discussing a package of bills on identity
cards and passports of Armenian citizens in its first reading.
Speaking in Parliament , Vice-Chief of Armenia's police Artur Osikyan
said that IDs are intended for internal use (for effecting payments,
etc..). The ID cost is AMD 3,000 to 5,000.
The package also envisages the replacement of social cards with public
utilities codes.
