ARMENIAN SERVICEMEN TAKING PART IN COMMONWEALTH WARRIOR COMPETITION

The Commonwealth Warrior competition is being held on the training
ground of the Taman motor rifle brigade. The former name of the
competition was First-Class Guy. However, the competition has been
renamed because girls are now taking part in it as well.
Representatives of armed forces of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Armenia,
Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan are competing for the winner title.
It is the third competition arranged pursuant to the decision by the
CIS defense ministers. The aim is to encourage servicemen to show
better results, Yuri Dashkin, Vice-Chief of the Head Department for
Personnel, told RIA Novosti.
