YEREVAN. - Stamps devoted to the 20th anniversary of Armenia's and
Nagorno-Karabakh's independence were redeemed and put in circulation
on Tuesday at the History Museum of Armenia. Armenian President Serzh
Sargsyan redeemed them on Tuesday.
Acting head of Haypost Hayk Avagyan made a welcoming speech in the
ceremony, Haypost informs Armenian News-NEWS.am. He said that the
stamps will travel all over the world being witness and ambassador
of the unity of Armenia.
The first stamp devoted to Armenia's independence was redeemed and put
in circulation in 1992. The tradition continued in 2001, 2006 and 2010.
The stamps devoted to the 20th anniversary of independence carry the
state flag and the National Emblem of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh.
