RAMIL SAFAROV TRANSLATES NOVEL BY HUNGARIAN AUTHOR

Officer of Azerbaijani army Ramil Safarov has translated another work
by a Hungarian author into his mother tongue.
Safarov has been sentenced to life imprisonment in Hungary for murder
of Armenian officer Gurgen Markarian for insulting Azerbaijani flag.
It was announced by Azerbaijani embassy in Hungary.
The works of Hungarian author Ferenc Molnar (1878-1952) attracted
Safarov's attention this time. Safarov has translated the novel
'The Paul Street Boys', the most famous work of the author.
This novel, imbued with a sense of heroism and patriotism, was
a handbook for several generations of Hungarian readers. It has
been filmed jointly by Hungarian-American producers. The Azerbaijani
translation of the novel will be printed by one of the Baku publishers
soon.
