HRAPARAK : ARMENIAN GENERAL DONATES 20 TANKS TO THE ARMY - NEWSPAPER

YEREVAN. - So as to display during the military parade on the 20th
anniversary of Armenia's independence, Armenian general Manvel
Grigoryan donated 20 new tanks, as symbols of independence, which,
they say he obtained from abroad, Hraparak daily informs.
"Grigoryan openly told his close companions that he spent a huge
amount of money for the welfare of his family members. The press had
written on numerous occasions that the general spares no effort, and
in return he wishes to see his wife or son in next year's National
Assembly. But is not known as to how he obtained those tanks and
brought them to Armenia," the daily writes.
