PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia misrepresents itself at international
exhibitions, Doctor of Philosophy Vazrik Bazil believes.
At news conference in Yerevan, the expert noted that Armenia's
exhibition halls are designed rather casually; yet, to impress foreign
visitors, the country must attempt to stress its difference from other
states in the region. "Unfortunately, Armenia keeps failing at that.
For example, Armenian folk dances are in no way different from Georgian
ones," he noted.
"However, Armenia could present its heritage in an original manner
to stress the difference. Armenians are too obsessed with the past. I
don't mean that the past must be renounced, yet one may try to merge
the past and the present in one idea," he said.
