IN ARMAVIR DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER FAMILIARIZES HIMSELF WITH PROCESS OF IRRIGATION SYSTEM PROGRAMS

Today in Armavir province, Armenian Deputy Prime Minister, Minister
of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan familiarized himself
with the works implemented in the irrigation system by "Millennium
Challenges Foundation-Armenia" (MCF-Armenia) program. Press service
of Territorial Administration Ministry told Armenpress that the Deputy
Prime Minister was accompanied by Armavir governor Ashot Ghahramanyan,
Director of "MCF-Armenia" program Ara Hovspeyan, and other responsible
officials.
In Aratashar Mr. Gevorgyan got acquainted with restoration works of
the pump station. The pump station is intended to hand to exploitation
at the end of September. The Deputy Minister assigned to fulfill the
possible flaws before handing it to the beneficiary.
In Yeraskhahun community Mr. Gevorgyan was presented the process of
constructions works of the new water pipeline. The 90% of the works
are implemented, the remaining part will be brought to an end in the
coming week.
The Deputy Prime Minister also attended the renaming ceremony of
the community's secondary school. The school will hereafter be named
after freedom fighter Martik Gevorgyan.
