"The international community will soon take the fairest decision
and recognize the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic," Karabakh war hero,
General Arkady Ter-Tadevosyan (Commandos) said on Wednesday.
Karabakh needs to pass a long and complicated path to be recognized
"de jure." The international community cannot neglect the fact that
Artsakh is an independent and exemplary country. Even international
observers notice it.
Speaking about the 20th anniversary of Armenia's independence,
Arkady Ter-Tadevosyan said it was Armenia's long-standing dream,
though he noted that during those 20 years Armenia has not had any
great achievements.
"We were at war and spent our resources on the protection of borders,"
he said.
The general considers the liberation of Shushi to be the most brilliant
victory during the Artsakh war and says he is ready to take up arms
if hostilities resume.
"It is my duty," he concluded.
