HOWARD BERMAN: NOBODY WILL EVER LET ANYONE IMPOSE ANY DECISION ON NAGORNO KARABAKH AGAINST ITS WILL

Yerevan/Mediamax/. Within the framework of the visit of the
parliamentary delegation of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) to
USA, National Assembly speaker Ashot Gulyan met Thursday with the
former chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Congressman
Howard Berman.
As the NKR parliamentary press service informed Mediamax today, Howard
Berman expressed concern with the absence of progress in the process of
settlement of the Karabakh conflict. The Congressman did not rule out
the military resolution of the problem, stressing that nobody will ever
let anyone impose any decision on Nagorno Karabakh against its will.
The delegation also met with the co-chairman of the Congressional
Caucus on Armenian Issues, Frank Pallone, and discussed issues
related to the development of bilateral cooperation, strengthening of
parliamentary ties between USA and Artsakh as well as the assistance
annually rendered by the USA to Nagorno Karabakh.
Frank Pallone expressed concern with frequent violations of the
ceasefire regime by Azerbaijan and reiterated the readiness of the
Congressional Caucus to bolster the strengthening of NKR independence.
