Developments in Caucasus prove necessity to strengthen
Russian-Armenian cooperation - Russian politician

MOSCOW. - Coopertaion between Russia and Armenia carries strategic
character and is based on long-term interests of both states, Fair
Russia party leader Sergey Mironov wrote on the occasion of 20 year
anniversary of Armenia's independence. The message was read on
September 15 in Moscow, Armenian Yerkramas newspaper in Russia
reports. Party representative Roman Bernatski read the congratulation.
`Cooperation between two states is strengthened by many contracts and
agreements, which support steady development of bilateral relations
and mutual cooperation of both states in international arena,'
congratulation reads.
Mutual cooperation between parliamentary assemblies of CIS and CSTO is
also successful, reads the message. Developments in the Caucasus prove
necessity to strengthen Russian-Armenian cooperation for providing
stability and security in the region. It also refers to
Armenian-Turkish relations and negotiation process of Karabakh
conflict resolution.
Congratulation also stresses important role of Armenian Diaspora in
further deepening of the partnership between Russia and Armenia. It
also spoke on supporting the realization of a number of perspective
projects.
