As part of the Armenian culture days "Stuttgart-2011" in Germany,
Armenians plan to hold on September 19 a concert called "Artsakh-20
years", devoted to the "20th anniversary of independence" of the
so-called regime in Nagorno-Karabakh.
In order to prevent this provocation, the Embassy of Azerbaijan in
Germany conducted negotiations with the German Foreign Ministry,
federal government agencies, relevant departments of the Federal
Land of Baden-Wurttemberg, as well as the administration of the city
of Stuttgart.
The honorary consulate of Azerbaijan in the Federal Land of
Baden-Wurttemberg and members of the Azerbaijani Diaspora organizations
in Stuttgart worked actively, as well, to this end.
The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry`s statement says "as a result of
the activities of the Azerbaijani side, government departments of
Germany categorically refused to finance this event and pointed out
the impossibility of participation of officials in it.
German officials said to organizers of the event, any political
propaganda of the separatist regime will be prevented."
