YEREVAN. - All-Armenian Forum contributes to unification of the
Diaspora, Motherland and Karabakh in a common cause of finding
solutions to common problems, the chairman of Armenian Community of
France Alexis Govchian told journalists on Monday.
"We all gathered here to find solutions to problems existing both
in Armenia and in Diaspora. By combining the efforts of 7 million
Armenians of Diaspora, Armenia and Artsakh, we can solve many problems,
including issues of human rights, existence of corruption.
We are aware of authorities' readiness to solve these problems and we,
in our turn, are ready to help. The well-being and strength of Armenia
is very important for the Diaspora, since our future, the future of our
children is here - in motherland. That is why we must strengthen the
relationship and try to solve the problems together," Govchian said.
Govchian disagreed with the remark that Diaspora is indifferent to
the existence of corruption and economic monopolies in Armenia.
"Those are very important issues but we should understand that
independent Armenia is only 20 years old. And it is for settlement
of these very problems that the Diaspora expresses its readiness to
contribute to the Motherland," he added.
