    THE NKR 20TH ANNIVERSARY MARKED IN MARSEILLES

    A festive event called 'Nagorno Karabakh: 20 years of independence'
    took place at the National Library of the French city of Marseilles,
    NKR MFA press service reported. The event's organizers were
    Marseilles Mayor's Office and the Coordination Council of the Armenian
    Organizations of France.

    The event was attended by Deputies of the National Assembly of France
    - Vice-Chairman of the French delegation at the OSCE Parliamentary
    Assembly, First Vice-Mayor of Marseilles Roland Bloom, Vice-Mayor
    of Marseilles Valery Buae, Richard Mallier, Gi Tessier, Fransua
    Roshbluan, as well as representatives of regional and municipal
    authorities, public representatives, those of the Armenian community,
    and journalists. The event's organizers warmly greeted an Artsakh War
    participant, General Norayr Ter-Grigorian who had attended the event.

    The documentary film 'Artsakh-Karabakh', made by Tir Katin Karabakh
    film studio, was shown.

    The Deputies shared their impressions of their visits to the NKR
    for the recent years and congratulated the people and authorities
    of Artsakh on the 20th anniversary of its statehood. They expressed
    their optimism on the peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict
    and the international recognition of the NKR.

    Representatives of Artsakh, Armenia, and the Diaspora made speeches
    at the festive events.
