OXFORD ANALYTICA: NAGORNO KARABAKH CONFLICT'S SETTLEMENT SHOULD BE BASED ON FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES

Azerbaijan
"Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is a serious and
immediate challenge to security and stability in the South Caucasus.
It could quickly expand into a broader and more deadly conflict and
would disrupt strategic energy transport routes and key military air
corridors, set back economic development and stifle foreign investment,
and undermine the inherently fragile course of democratization in the
South Caucasus", the Oxford Analytica, Global Analysis and Advisory
says in its daily brief.
The report says that disinclination to liberate occupied territories
and solve the Nagorno Karabakh conflict within the framework of OSCE
Minsk group would lead to the renewal of the military confrontation.
Oxford Analytica is an international consulting firm providing
strategic analysis of world events. It was founded in 1975 by David
Young, an American employee of the National Security Council during
the Nixon administration.
The company has access to a network of over a thousand academics
and specialists around the world, particularly at the University Of
Oxford, England. Its main activities are in the areas of geopolitics
and economics and principally comprise a consulting practice and a
daily briefing service.
