AJA EFFORTS AIMED AT FREE ECONOMIC ZONE CREATION IN ARMENIA

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Jewelers Association (AJA) has hopes and
programs to be implemented in Armenia.
"Firstly, it is creation of free economic zone within next two years
through the joint efforts of AJA and the RA government to help
jewelers all over the world establish their business in Armenia,
thus creating job and export opportunities," AJA President Gagik
Gevorgyan told journalists on September 21.
According to him, AJA plans large-scale training programs "to prepare
designers to be the pride of our nation." Here he emphasized that
celebrities highly appreciate Armenian jewelers' works.
"I assure you, there is no celebrity, who does not have his/her
Armenian jeweler. Armenian jeweler's piece serves as talisman for the
owner and is believed to bring good luck," AJA President emphasized.
Armenia's President Serzh Sargsyan attended the exhibition of Armenian
Jewelers Association (AJA) that opened in Yerevan on occasion of the
20th anniversary of Armenia's independence. The exhibition will see
its end on September 23.
Renowned Armenian jewelers from U.S., Canada, Switzerland, Russia,
France, Italy, Thailand, Lebanon and other countries participate in
the exhibition. Yerevan Show exhibits best pieces of 65 famous jewelry
brands owned by our compatriots from Diaspora, among them Asthet,
Haytayan, Bergio, Tacori, Waskol, Yessayan Jewellery and others.
