Armenia voted down a report at the Euronest session held in Strasbourg
from September 14 to 15, 2011.
"The document named territorial integrity and inviolability of borders
as the principles of international law, however, our colleagues from
Georgia and Azerbaijan "forgot" about the equal principle of the right
of nations to self-determination," member of the Armenian delegation,
MP Lilit Galstyan told reporters in Yerevan.
"Our position was unequivocal and did not need a commentary. There
was a situation when no one was a loser. We therefore voted down this
document," the parliamentarian said.
