MOSCOW. - Armenian and Russian boxing teams will be accommodated
separately from other teams at the World Championships which opens
in Baku on September 26.
Under the agreement with the Azerbaijani Boxing Federation, Armenian
and Russian teams will be accommodated separately at a specially
guided sports base, executive director of Russia's Boxing Federation
Yevgeniy Sudakov told Russian Ves Sport agency. He explained that
Russian team features two boxers bearing Armenian names.
"The reasons, obviously, are of political character. Although there is
no open ethno-political conflict between Armenians and Azerbaijanis,
we decided to secure our team from possible incidents," he said,

Russian team features David Hayrapetyan (49kg) and Misha Aloyan (52kg)
