YEREVAN. - The Russian company, which is 100-percent shareholder
of Electrical Network of Armenia company is considering selling 20
percent of its shares to a French company, Zhoghovurd daily writes.
"According to our sources, September 23 is mentioned as the date for
this business deal. By the way, the French for a long time are studying
the electricity networks and substations, their capacity, and by and
large the general condition of the system. It is also interesting
that this business deal will be carried out prior to French President
Nicolas Sarkozy's visit to Armenia. It seems France's positions in
our country have started to further strengthen," Zhoghovurd writes.
