WASHINGTON. - U.S. President Barack Obama met Turkish PM Recep Tayyip
Erdogan. They touched upon the process of establishing Armenian-Turkish
relations.
The issue of national minorities living in Turkey was also addressed,
Turkishjournal reports. The U.S. President praised Erdogan's steps
regarding the issue of national minorities. In the meantime, he
offered to continue the process of establishing relations with Armenia,
the White House sources inform.
Earlier, during the meeting of U.S. State Secretary Hillary Clinton
and Turkey's FM Ahmet Davutoglu, Clinton stated that U.S. is interested
in establishing Armenian-Turkish relations.
