ARMENIAN PRESIDENTIAL STAFF RECEIVES PETITION ON GRANTING CITIZENSHIP TO KARABAKH WAR VETERAN

YEREVAN. - The Committee for Protection of Zhirayr Sefilian's RA
Citizenship Right has asked Swedish Royal Academy Professor Aramayis
Mirzakhanyan to launch a signature campaign, among participants of the
4th Pan-Armenian Forum, to grant Armenian citizenship to Karabakh war
veterans and opposition members Zhirayr Sefilian and Sarkis Hatspanian.
Mirzakhanyan was in the Armenian capital Yerevan and he attended the
Pan-Armenian Forum.
The aforesaid Committee's coordinator Aghavni Sahakyan on Friday
submitted to Armenian Presidential Staff the petition addressed to the
President. 58 Diaspora Armenians, who participated in the Pan-Armenian
Forum, have signed under this petition with the abovementioned request.
