NKR FOREIGN MINISTRY HOSTS MEETING WITH YOUTH FROM RUSSIA

The acting foreign minister of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR,
Artsakh), Vasily Atajanyan, received on Friday a group Armenian and
Russian young people from the Russian region of Volgograd.
According a press release by the NKR Foreign Ministry, the youth
representatives are in Karabakh in the frameworks of a project called
Travel to Armenia.
Project Director Hrachya Nersisyan, who is also the head of the Union
of Russian-Armenians in Volzhskiy town, appreciated the initiative,
considering it a good opportunity for enhancing the intellectual
potential of the youth, contributing to their moral and patriotic
education and boosting ties with their compatriots in Armenia and
Artsakh.
Upon the guests' request, Atajanyan briefed them on the Karabakh
liberation war and the current peace talk over the settlement of the
NKR-Azerbaijani conflict. He also addressed the demographic situation
in the country and other issues. Atajanyan stressed the importance of
similar visits, considering them a key component in the strengthening
of the Armenia-Artsakh-Diaspora relations.
The guests promised to continue the visits to Karabakh, involving
more and more young people in the project.
