After viewing the TV reports on the arrests yesterday of alleged
members of a criminal gang in Yerevan, Sousanna Fahradyan relived the
night of September 7 when 7 masked men broke into her home in the
Arshaluys village in Armavir Marz.
She told Hetq that the men arrested yesterday eerily resembled those
who robbed their family.
`Their appearance, the masks, it all fits in. The police haven't told
us anything, only that a preliminary examination is taking place. They
are giving us vague answers,' Mrs. Fahradyan said.
She hopes that those arrested yesterday will turn out to be the same
men who broke into her house and that the case will thus be solved.
In the September 7 incident, the robbers beat Mrs. Fahradyan and the
rest of her family and got away with 3 million AMD, $1,300 and 150
Euros.
