Turkey again wishes to intervene in Karabakh conflict settlement

    September 24, 2011 | 11:21

BAKU. - Addressing at UN, Turkish FM Ahmet Davutoglu again spoke about
settlement of the Karabakh conflict. He stated that, `to maintain
stability in the region' and if Azerbaijan wishes, Turkey is prepared
to step up its efforts in finding a resolution to the Nagorno-Karabakh
conflict, Azerbaijan's Trend News Agency reported.

To note, addressing at the 66th session of UN General Assembly in New
York, Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan had stated that it is
impermissible `for the Karabakh conflict to still remain unresolved.'

In his view, greater efforts need to be put to resolve frozen conflicts.
