MASS SUICIDE ATTEMPT REPORTED IN ARMENIA

PanARMENIAN.Net - A suicide and a suicide attempt were reported
in Armenia.
On September 25, at 12:10 p.m. local time, mass suicide attempt was
reported to the ambulance service of Dilijan (Tavush province). Having
arrived at the site, the police found the body of Dilijan resident
Gayane Mnatsakayan who hanged herself in the corridor of her house.
The woman's daughter and son, 23 and 25, attempted suicide by slitting
their wrists. The young people were taken to the hospital and are
currently out of danger. The post-mortem examination revealed no signs
of violence. However, later, inspection found a number of scattered
and broken pictures of Jesus.
A criminal case was instigated; an investigation is under way.
