"I know that Azerbaijan doesn't have occupied territories. But if the
forced war to Nagorno-Karabakh and the security zone formed in the
aftermath of it are considered, the Turkish Premiere would be better
to stress people's right to self-determination and recommend solutions
in this respect," Republican MP Artak Zakaryan told Panorama.am.
Turkish PM Tayyip Erodgan stated in his UN General Assembly delivered
speech that years lasting occupation of Azerbaijani lands should
be finished. "It's our moral and political responsibility to find
solutions for the international conflicts."
The MP agreed that it's Turkish Premier's and his colleagues'
moral and political responsibility to support people's right to
self-determination. "Hence, the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs are dealing
with the key issues," said A. Zakaryan.
Panorama.am asked the official to make remarks on Turkish ministerial
council decision to return the Armenian-Turkish protocols to the
parliament. MP Artak Zakaryan described it a "kind gesture".
The official has said the path to EU with closed borders will be
always closed.
