ARGENTINE SUPPORTED AZERBAIJAN IN CONFLICT WITH ARMENIA

Khalafov has received delegation of Argentinean Parliament.
Minister of Foreign Afiars of Azerbaijan has rewported that Kh.
Khalafov told the guests of Azerbaijan's great role in the Caspian
region and South Caucasus and said that Armenian-Azerbaijani
Nagorno-Garabagh conflict is the chief factor preventing development
in the region. In his words contemporary world community does not
welcome use of force by one country in respect of another country in
form of occupation or ethnic cleansing the results of which are not
recognized by international community.
In turn Argentinean delegation disapproved the fact of Azerbaijani
lands' occupation by Armenia and expressed its solidarity with
Azerbaijan and intention to bring Azerbaijani reality to Argentinean
community's notice. Argentinean MPs expressed hope for soonest fair
solution of the conflict.
Argentinean delegation promised to inform relevant agencies of its
country on cooperation opportunities of Azerbaijan in rural, industry,
energy and tourism areas. Once more emphasizing Azerbaijan's special
role in the region Kh. Khalafov noted the possibility of Argentine's
use of Azerbaijan's potential for establishment cooperation in
the region.
