EXHIBITION DEDICATED TO 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF FOUNDATION OF AMERICAN UNIVERSITY OF ARMENIA

A series of paintings called "Fences" will open September 28 at
"Paramaz Avetisyan" sub-building. Gyumri artists Hrach Vardanyan and
Karen Alekyan, who are the authors of the works, have dedicated the
exhibition to the 20th anniversary of foundation of the American
University of Armenia (AUA). AUA Public Relations Department told
Armenpress that the series includes 15 paintings. They will be
presented to the art-loving society in a unique way: the paintings
will be arranged in a way to look like a fence.
Karen Alekyan presents the series of "Fences" as a documentation of
the post-soviet situation.
And Hrach Vardanyan will exhibit 7 paintings dedicated to the 20th
anniversary of AUA, as well as all the works of the author will be
presented in appearance of an album. The exhibition will be followed
by a concert.
