RUSSIA OFFERS U.S., EU TO JOIN IN SECURING PEACE AT CAUCASUS

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russia is ready to act as a guarantor in non-use
of force agreement between Abkhazia, Georgia and South Ossetia,
Russian Foreign Minister told the United Nations General Assembly.
According to Sergey Lavrov, Russia would welcome the U.S. and EU~Rs
adoption of similar responsibilities. ~SAs guarantors, we~Rll be
ready to take steps to prevent use of force in the region or settle
the situation based on International Law norms in case of illegal
use of force,~T the FM stressed.
