YEREVAN, MARCH 30, ARMENPRESS: The latest events in the Middle East
will affect the Armenian communities, ARF Representative of Armenian
Cause Office in Lebanon Hakob Babakhanyan said in a briefing with
journalists.
"That impact cannot be shocking, as strained situations are typical
of the Middle East. Thanks to political maturity Armenian communities
have managed to stay away from that tension," said Hakob Babakhanyan,
according to Armenpress.
He said that the news that representatives of the Armenian community
are leaving the community, are connected with the campaign of the mass
media, and the Armenian media should not pa attention to it. There is
no massive disorder in Armenian communities. There are difficulties,
but communities of the Middle East are accustomed to them. "The role
of those colonies has always been important, especially for Armenia,"
said Hakob Babakhanyan.
