ARMENIA SEEKS TO PREVENT HAIL

Some 35 new antihail machines will be installed in Armenia in 2012,
Deputy Agriculture Minister Robert Makaryan said, ARKA reports.
Most hail clouds come from Turkey, so the machines will be set at the
Ararat and Armavir Regions. One machine costs 6 million drams. There
are 185 of such machines operating in Armenia.
Antihail facilities are controlled by the radar at the Artashavan
Village of the Aragotsnsk Region.
