"GOLDEN APRICOT" TO HAVE UNPRECEDENTED NUMBER OF APPLICATIONS FOR PARTICIPATION

YEREVAN, APRIL 3, ARMENPRESS. "Golden Apricot" film festival will
continue accepting film applications up to April 15. Festival Art
Director Susanna Harutyunyan told Armenpress that currently 625
applications have already been submitted from abroad and Armenia.
"The number of the film applications is expected to be unprecedented as
the organizers are going to receive 150 films more before the deadline"
Harutyunyan highlighted.
She said that last year the festival has registered 675 applications.
Voters Committee has already started its work and the decision on
competition films will be announced on May 31.
The motto of "Golden Apricot" International Film Festival launched
since 2004 is " Crossroads of Cultures and Civilizations"; which is
aimed at establishment of cultural roads.
