ARMENIAN PRESIDENT, RUSSIAN FM PRAISE THE LEVEL OF BILATERAL COOPERATION

President Serzh Sargsyan received Russian Foreign Minister Sergey
Lavrov. At the beginning of the meeting the interlocutors congratulated
each other on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of establishment
of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the
Russian Federation.
The parties stressed that the political dialogue between the two
countries, as well as the dynamically developing cooperation in
the economic, military, military-technical, humanitarian fields and
within international organizations is an evidence of the strategic
partnership between the two friendly peoples and states and firm
allied relations, which further reinforce thanks to regular meetings
between the Presidents of two countries.
Lavrov said that the celebration of the 15th anniversary of
Armenian-Russian Agreement on Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual
Assistance Agreement will be accompanied by implementation of programs
aimed at further development of bilateral cooperation.
