ARMENIA READY TO DISCUSS WITH RUSSIA CONSTRUCTION OF RADAR STATION IN ARMENIA

YEREVAN, APRIL 4, ARMENPRESS: Armenia is ready to discuss with Russia
the issue on construction of radar station, Prime Minister of Armenia
Tigran Sargsyan said in an interview to Russian Komersant paper asked
whether Armenia will allow construction of station in its territory if
Russia and Azerbaijan do not agree over renting conditions of Gabala
radar station. "If our territory presents such interest we are ready
to discuss the issue," the PM said.
Tigran Sargsyan stressed Armenia may be attractive in this respect
as it is a mountainous country.
Russia and Azerbaijan are discussing the Gabala Radar Station's
renting issue but Azerbaijan demands huge money.
