EDUCATION AND SCIENCE MINISTER OF ARMENIA HIGHLIGHTS RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ECONOMY AND EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM

YEREVAN, APRIL 6, ARMENPRESS: Education and Science Ministry of Armenia
is ready to implement all the programs that will promote increase of
the education quality and rapprochement of the relationship between
economy and education, Minister Armen Ashotyan said at a meeting with
Director General of South Caucasus Railway Company Victor Rebets,
Ministry's press service told Armenpress. Mr.
Ashotyan assured the cooperation with the company in the sphere of
education will be continuous.
"The recent years' experience e shows that the system of the
professional education immediately responds if a distinct demand is
formed in the market, like in the case of IT and banking system,"
said Armen Ashotyan.
Victor Rebets noted that the company is actively cooperating with
Gyumri's State College, Vanadzor Vocational College N 1 and Yerevan
State University of Architecture. In that context the director
referred to equipment of the classrooms of the mentioned educational
establishments, replenishment of the libraries with relevant
literature, affording an opportunity to students of Yerevan State
University of Architecture to continue the education in corresponding
universities of Russia.
