TEHRAN - Iran exported some 43 million liters of oil products,
including kerosene, jet fuel, diesel oil and gasoline, in the past
calendar year, which ended on March 19, the managing director of the
National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company stated.

Speaking to reporters in Tehran on Sunday, Jalil Salari said that the
country earned nearly $10 billion through exporting oil products.

Some 6 million liters of furnace oil was sold to sailing ships and the
figure is projected to reach seven million liters next year, he added.

National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company's Managing
Director Alireza Zeighami has said that Iraq, Armenia, Afghanistan,
and Pakistan are now importing or have called for the importation of
gasoline and diesel fuel from Iran.

Iran's known reserves of crude oil are the fourth largest in the
world, after Saudi Arabia, Venezuela and Canada.

The country is currently the second-biggest exporter of crude in the
Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, after Saudi Arabia, and
the world's third biggest exporter after Saudi Arabia and Russia.
