DPA'S ELECTION PROGRAM AIMS TO BOOST BIRTHRATE, TO FIGHT SHADOW ECONOMY

The Democratic Party of Armenia launches election campaign on April
10. The party will hold its first meeting with voters at Yerevan
State Theatre of the Young Spectator, DPA Chairman Aram Sargsyan told
a news conference in Yerevan.
DPA will meet with voters in Gyumri on April 11, in Masis on April
14 and in Vanadzor on April 15, the party leader said.
DPA comes up with the ideology of European democratic socialism, with
the election program targeting mechanisms to tackle the challenges
faced by young families, in particular, boosting birthrate, Aram
Sargsyan noted.
The Democratic Party also aims to fight the shadow economy and to
create free market relations and equal conditions, he stressed.
