HERITAGE LEADER TO RUN FOR PRESIDENT IF NO BETTER CANDIDATE FOUND

The leader of the opposition Heritage party, Raffi Hovhannisyan, has
commented on his last year's statement promising not to run for
election in 2013.
Speaking the Civilitas Foundation's Q&A discussion on Tuesday, the
Heritage leader said his words were not perceived in full context.
"My preference is to bring a new alternative with which I will express
solidarity as a senior citizen. I am hopeful someone from the younger
generation will emerge until the next election. But if that doesn't
happen to be the case I will be an alternative option until a new
candidate is found," he said.
